For a healthy pregnancy period, eat properly and do PRENATAL YOGA.

Pregnancy is a special period of time that women are in deep contact with their feelings and bodies. During pregnancy, there is a constant change of body and mood.

Lots of women perceive this period of time as a ‘waiting period’ full of uncertainty and insecurity. In fact, it is possible that, pregnancy and delivery to become a fine experience for expectant mother, thereby for fetus.

Actually, this period is a golden opportunity for women to know themselves and to grow mature.

We recommend prenatal yoga to realize, bear and  embrace the physical and psychological changes occuring rapidly and to feel comfortable with these changes.

You can also benefit from yoga to reduce backache, low back pain and cramps that may result from changes in body’s center of gravity during pregnancy.

Stretching of hips, pelvis and chest, strengthening of arms and legs, regulation of  blood circulation are some examples to benefits of Prenatal Yoga.

Body and mind integrity, breathing exercises moves away anxiety and prepares expectant mothers for the exciting moment of birth and for motherhood, with a blissful awareness.

You may feel the affects of Prenatal Yoga even from the first training.

What about after delivery?

You should go on taking care of your body while enjoying motherhood and help your body to narrow the joint spacing that widened while giving birth. Right after delivery, you can renew yourself in a very short time with Postnatal Yoga.

Since 1999, she is a fellow-traveller with Nazmi Gür whom she has chosen as a Guru to herself and has aimed to walk together.

After she met her Guru, with her first bioenergy session her life has completely changed. With her increased awareness she started to follow Alternative Life Lessons. At that time, her experiences and comprehensions upon people’s behaviour has improved clearly.

She studied Integral and Gurudwara Yoga with Nazmi Gür and Sivananda Yoga with Shelly Kerry. She had done Zazen for a while. She studied Tai Chi for a period of time with Ahmet Özkan, the first and currently the only Chen style Tai Chi instructor in Turkey.  

These awareness and healing studies which goes on for many years, brought her together with contemporary meditation under the guidance of her Guru. They shared Dynamic, Kundalini, breathing and directive meditation together.

She had continued Osho Studio paralel to all her studies for 2 years. She did Osho meditations, she had ‘Meditation and Fascilitator’ education from Maneesha James who is Osho’s close friend and sanyasin.

She got the Birthlight Perinatal Yoga Trainer certificate from James Collins, one of the educators of  Brightligt, and started giving lessons for pregnancy and post-natal period. Lastly, she got YA RYT 200 document from Yoga Vidya Mandiram.

She has given the name Lajja by her  Guru. She works as Meditation fascilitator, Gurudwara yoga instructor and perinatal yoga instructor within Gurudwara ashram.
